Celebrating the Graduation of the Building Wireless Community Networks Program and DDCN Graduation
On 20 July, KriVin Academy proudly celebrated the successful graduation of the Building Wireless Community Networks (BWCN) program in Coimbatore, organized by KriVin Academy in collaboration with our knowledge partners, Internet Society Foundation, Internet Society, and Internet Society Learning. The event also marked the graduation of the DDCN students from DAV College, Amritsar, making it a memorable celebration of learning, collaboration, and digital empowerment.
We were honored to welcome Ms. Esther Mwiyeria Kioni, Senior Director – Learning and Training, and Mr. Marian Pletosu, Senior Manager – Learning and Partnership, as our distinguished delegates. Their presence and inspiring words added great value to the celebration as we recognized the achievements of all our graduates.
The program reflects our shared commitment to bridging the digital divide by equipping learners with the technical skills needed to design, deploy, and sustain community wireless networks.
A special highlight of the program was the participation of women, reaffirming our belief that women not only carry responsibilities—they can also build, manage, and connect the networks that transform communities. Through technical education and hands-on training, we are empowering more women to become leaders in the digital future.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the management of DAV College, Amritsar, especially Respected Principal Amardeep Gupta, Dr. Kapil Goyal, and Dr. Preeti Kamra, for their unwavering support and commitment to student development. We deeply appreciate their efforts in traveling to Coimbatore, encouraging their students throughout their training journey, and partnering with us to create meaningful learning opportunities.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to all the participating institutions, their management teams, principals, faculty members, the Internet Society team, our dedicated trainers, volunteers, and enthusiastic trainees. Your passion, collaboration, and commitment have been the driving force behind this meaningful journey. Together, we are building not just technical skills, but a stronger, more inclusive, and connected future for communities.
Congratulations to all the graduates of the Building Wireless Community Networks and DDCN programs! Your dedication, perseverance, and passion for learning will help build stronger, more resilient, and digitally connected communities. We are proud to celebrate your success and look forward to the positive impact you will create.
